Alu Design & Services announced today that it has been named the exclusive supplier for Kongsberg Maritime’s K-Master workstation. Having developed the chair’s technical solution in just 10 weeks, this young company has proven it can really deliver. With a stringently tested prototype approved, first delivery is estimated for early March 2010.

Developed for the demanding needs of offshore vessels, the K-Master workstation sets a new standard with the integration of navigation, control and manoeuvring functions for the aft bridge. It provides unique access to all major control systems within easy reach of the seated operator, ensuring complete awareness in all situations and thus increasing operational efficiency, reliability and safety.
